Caitlin Ockenden

Caitlin is Lead for Communications and Engagement, and has 5+ years of experience working with the press, having previously worked on the Shrewsbury and Telford Review. She has extensive contacts across regional and national media outlets and is committed to ensuring the highest level of accuracy in the media surrounding the Independent Review.

She coordinates engaging, high impact external communications for diverse audiences, regionally and nationally and is the main point of contact for any news regarding the Independent Review.

As a linguist, Caitlin is also responsible for the coordination of community engagement and has been the lead for a series of multilingual videos and resources aimed at ensuring Review engagement with as many women as possible, from as many faiths, communities, and walks of life as is possible.
