Claire McKellow
Claire has been a qualified Midwife for 18 years and is currently in the role of course leader and senior lecturer at Kingston University, which she started in 2016. She takes responsibility for oversight of all undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programmes. This role gives her the opportunity to ensure that our curriculums meet the needs of both university qualification, safe service provision and the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council. She has worked in numerous clinical settings and roles, these include being a rotational midwife, opening a birth centre, labour ward shift coordinator, practice development midwife and clinical governance lead. Within her experience in these roles, Claire has supported clinical investigations and quality improvement strategies.
