Deepika Meneni

Deepika Meneni is a Consultant Obstetrician and Obstetric medicine lead at James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough. She completed MD(O&G) in India and attained CCT in the UK.  She has been a Consultant Obstetrician at South Tees NHS Foundation Trust since 2012 and Clinical Director, leading the maternity services, from 2020. She is the Maternal Medicine Lead at South Tees, Vice chair for Maternal medicine clinical expert group in North East and has special interest in managing cardiac and renal problems in pregnancy. 

Deepika has a post graduate certificate in Medical Education and is particularly involved in delivering high quality skills training. She is a faculty member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology examinations and facilitates courses in the recognition and care of acutely unwell women and maternal critical care, both regionally and nationally.
