Dr Elisabeth Peregrine
Liz has been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at Kingston Hospital in Surrey since 2010. She graduated in Medicine from the University of London (UMDS) in 1993 after obtaining a BSC in Basic Medical Science with Psychology in 1990. She completed her postgraduate training in London and is accredited as a Subspecialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine in. During her training she undertook research on the ‘Use of Ultrasound in Labour’ and obtained an MD in 2007. She was a Consultant at UCLH in London for 3 years before moving to Kingston.
Liz has a broad range of experience in Obstetrics including labour and delivery care, multiple pregnancy and maternal-fetal medicine. She set up the current local Fetal Medicine service at Kingston.
Liz has a passion and commitment to postgraduate and multidisciplinary training with extensive experience in education. She is a Simulation and Human Factor trainer, has been the Co-Lead of Maternity Training for 12 years and was the Obstetrics and Gynaecology College Tutor at Kingston for 4 years. She was awarded the RCOG National Trainer of the year Award in 2018. She is currently the Trust Interim Director of Medical Education and O&G Training Programme Director for South London.
