Dr Elizabeth Combeer

Liz has been a consultant anaesthetist at Frimley Park Hospital since 2010 following training within the St George’s School of Anaesthesia. Her clinical interests are in obstetrics, vascular anaesthesia, and preoperative assessment and optimisation of patients at higher risk of perioperative complications. She is the lead for postgraduate teaching within her department and supports junior colleagues with preparation for their postgraduate examinations. She authored a medical textbook (published 2018) for candidates of the Final FRCA. Liz is co-director of two national CPD courses for anaesthetists, one a general update in many areas of practice and the other focussed on ethics and law relevant to anaesthetic practice. She holds a Masters in Healthcare Ethics and Law from the University of Manchester (2010).
