Jane Pascoe
Jane has been a qualified Midwife since 2003. After qualifying in London the majority of her career has been based in the NHS at an acute hospital setting in the South West of England. She has over 11 years’ experience as a clinical midwifery labour ward coordinator, managing a busy obstetric unit, maintaining patient safety and high standards of care and supporting the multidisciplinary team. Jane has had a specialist interest in fetal monitoring and wellbeing for some time. More recently she has taken up the role of Lead Fetal Monitoring Midwife within her trust. She provides clinical and learning support to midwives and obstetricians on a regular basis. Jane has experience at investigating patient safety incidents ensuring areas of concerns are highlighted and learning implemented. In addition to this role she is currently part of a perinatal team looking at reducing brain injury and improving outcomes for preterm births. Jane is passionate about working with families to help continually improve patient safety and our maternity services.
