Mr Alexander Taylor

Alexander is pleased to be invited to give support and expertise to this extremely important review. He is a full time NHS Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in a 4,800 delivery Obstetric unit with a Level 3 Neonatal ICU. He has extensive experience in Maternity Risk Management and has led his service as Governance and Safety Lead for 6 years. His unit has achieved the highest level CNST award for 2 years and received a “Good” rating for Maternity Services in 2019. Alexander is a passionate Obstetrician with extensive labour ward experience, an international expert in operative vaginal delivery and has led their unit in several multi centre research trials.  He is currently the Labour Ward Lead Obstetrician and RCOG College Tutor.
