Sarah Marks

Sarah has been a Midwife for 19 years and is currently working as a Community and Outpatient Maternity Matron. She has had the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience, working as a clinical lead in both acute and community settings. She is proud to be a Midwife and is committed to creating a compassionate and inclusive environment, where kindness and civility is pivotal. Throughout her Midwifery career, women and families have been at the centre of all she does.

Sarah has been fortunate to work in collaboration with system partners in her previous role as Quality Lead for Women’s, Children’s and Neonatal services commissioned by the Integrated Care Board. She supported providers with quality, safety, and improvement activities. This role included overseeing and assessing, risk, strategy, patient safety, equity, inclusion, and service user feedback. This was to ensure the environment fostered a learning and improvement approach, and that this was embedded across the Integrated Care System.
