Dr Simon Holmes

Dr Simon Holmes has been a Non-Executive Director at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for five years and prior to that was Medical Director at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and thus has gained a broad experience of NHS acute hospitals and their trust Boards. In these roles, Simon has promoted the use of national and local audit data to help improve clinical services whilst also fostering collaborative and open cultures to drive quality improvement. Simon’s clinical background is a Urological surgeon in Portsmouth and he has held a number of other roles, such as Medical Director of the Central South Coast Cancer Network.
