Erica Musa BSc RM
Originally from Zimbabwe, Erica is an experienced midwife who has been practicing in Surrey since 2013. She studied in Guildford, earning postgraduate qualifications in Mentorship and Newborn Examination (NIPE), along with additional training in Newborn Life Support (NLS).
Erica began her career as a rotational midwife in 2013, where she discovered a strong interest in intrapartum care, particularly in low-risk settings. She currently works primarily in the birth center and labor ward, where she assists the Band 7 leads with audits, daily operations, and the support of midwives and students in low-risk environments.
In 2020, Erica played a key role in establishing a new homebirth team, contributing to the development of guidelines and pathways, ensuring continuity of care, and facilitating home births.
