Suzanne Tyler
Suzanne has spent the last 10 years working at the heart of national maternity policy and local service delivery as an Executive Director at the Royal College of Midwives. Before which she was the strategic programme lead for maternity improvement across South Central SHA (later to become NHS South of England). Preceding that she spent 10 years as a freelance consultant supporting numerous individual maternity services and PCTs embark on the journey of understanding how to improve quality and outcomes. She has also authored many national government policy publications. Her PhD is an exploration of the impact that service users in maternity have on policy development across Europe. Having begun her health career in patient advocacy and advised numerous health authorities on impactful and genuine user engagement, Suzanne is committed to health services that put users at the very heart of everything they do.
