Mary Dehinbo

Throughout my career as a midwife, I have gained a wealth of experience as a midwifery leader in a variety of clinical areas. I have worked hard to maintain my clinical credibility by continuing to provide clinical care as able. The better birth ambitions (2016) and safer maternity care recommendations for improving outcomes and reducing maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity have been mainstay in my practice and driven my passions within maternity services. These passions are further driven by the multiple recent publications and recommendations since then. Through my career I have had the opportunity to work operationally well as strategically with a variety of senior leadership teams. As an experienced leader, I am ready to drive positive change in maternity services. I am passionate about equity, inclusion and provision of good care at the highest standard whilst ensuring a safe and compassionate working environment for staff.
