Ailish O’Shea

Ailish is currently working as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) Midwife at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.

She has been a midwife for nine years, following training at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. In this time, she has worked between the delivery suite as a band 6 midwife, the postnatal ward, and then back to the delivery suite as a unit coordinator.

Ailish has recently qualified as the first ACP midwife in the trust, which has enabled her to develop new and existing skills as well as broadening her knowledge around midwifery and the increasing complexity of maternity care.
